The Putuo Stadium project is located in Putuo District, Shanghai. It is an old gymnasium renovation project. The geometric shape of the building initially consists of two basic geometric shapes forming the outline of the lower part, and then merges at the upper part, and changes into a more complex shape through one-dimensional scaling and rotation.
The experience of this project is that it is best not to change the software, because the accuracy of Rhinoceros3D is very high, so even if the original outline accuracy in CAD is set to 8 zeros after the decimal point, there will still be deviations in the Rhinoceros3D model. Although it does not affect the final construction. If the original outline can be directly formed or created in Rhinoceros3D from the beginning, there should be no cases where the shape is not completely consistent, and the accuracy of the model will be more perfect.
In addition, the splitting of the curtain wall is completed in cooperation with the curtain wall manufacturer. The segmentation is completed by them, so I did not use Grasshopper, but manually splitting them in Rhinoceros3D. However, in the subsequent Revit model, I used Dynamo to do it. Rather than placing it manually.
